Podomodo ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Podomodo mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use Podomodo:
- Account information: Email address and authentication data when you create an account (via email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In).
- Task data: Tasks, pomodoro sessions, and habit tracking data you create within the app.
- Feedback: Messages you voluntarily submit through the in-app feedback feature, along with your email and app version.
- Purchase information: Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. We do not store your payment details directly.
- Device information: App version and crash reports (via Sentry) to improve app stability.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the app's core functionality (task management, pomodoro timer, habit tracking).
- To sync your data across devices via our cloud service (Supabase).
- To use AI services to automatically group and organize your tasks. Task text is processed by third-party AI providers (Anthropic) solely for this purpose.
- To manage your subscription and in-app purchases.
- To respond to your feedback and improve the app.
- To diagnose crashes and technical issues.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. Data is also cached locally on your device for offline access. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Authentication, database, and real-time sync.
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Task grouping and organization. Only task text is sent; no personal identifiers are included.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management.
- Sentry: Crash reporting and error tracking.
- Apple / Google: Authentication via Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In.
Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be removed from our servers. Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the app.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Export your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
Children's Privacy
Podomodo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
